That is what they say on their website. I am loving this idea. Creative people put up a description of their projects, and many backers pledge small amounts to reach the project goal. When allotted time is up, if the goal has been met they charge your credit card and transfer the money to the project creator. It is a way for small amounts of money to add up and give the creatives a kickstart on their projects.
